The mountains in Slovenia are truly majestic. Maybe not as enormous as in Switzerland or Italy (they are not as high and pointed), yet so stunning. The highest mountain Triglav is not low at all – it proudly rises to a height of 2864 m. Slovenia dominants with wildlife and the most beautiful turquoise rivers you can imagine. I put Triglav National Park and Lake Bled on the list of top destinations that I was lucky enough to visit. You feel and see nature at every step. Hundreds of butterflies fly where you walk, a snake crawls between your legs. Huge mushrooms grow around each forest path. An eagle is circling above your heads. Splendor. I dare say that if you are planning a trip to Central Europe, give Slovenia priority over Austria and Germany!
